The island of Stord is situated at the entrance to Hardanger Fjord, with the North Sea to the west and Folgefonna Glacier to the east. How to get there?
From Haugesund Airport to the Stord Hotel it is a 1 h. trip by car in scenic coastal landscape.
If you don't won't to hire a car, you can take the "Coastal Express Bus" ("Kystbussen")
directly from the airport via the terminal in Haugesund and further on to Stord..
