Nesheimstunet - perfect for groups or families
The newly renovated, 150 year old farm house can also be rented. The house contains
three bedrooms with a total of 10 beds, 3 lounges, large kitchen with an open fire +
dishwasher and bathroom. Basement contains washing machine, freezer and plenty of
space for fishing equipment and a double garage.
This is a good alternative for large groups and families - 6 to 10 persons - and is ideal
for children.
Activities:
River fishing for salmon and sea trout in the magical Åms River in lower Vats is said to
be the most exciting and fun river in which to test your fishing skills.
Freshwater fishing in Vats can only be described as extremely fruitful. The region contains
a lot of large and medium-sized lakes full of brown trout and Canadian char, and sea trout.
Ocean fishing is an all year round activity and takes place mainly in Vats Fjord and Yrkje Fjord
using a boat, but fishing from the quay is also possible.
